Comprehensive Approaches to School Sexual Health Promotion

This page lists resources that explain how comprehenive approaches to promoting sexual health and preventing STI, AIDS and other sexual health problems through schools can be done. This includes linking sexual health to other issues such as mental health, relationships, youth development, gender equity, personal and social development, by expliciting using multi-level (ministry, schoolboard/agency, school/neighbourhood) strategies within education, health and other systems. It also includes a comprehensive approach to sexual health that includes sexual health, STI and HIV/AIDS prevention, contraception, pregnancy and reproduction, relationships, sexual harassment and other issues.
